McFaddin Recommended to be 14th EKU President by Committee

The EKU presidential search committee made the unanimous recommendation that acting president Dr. David McFaddin be appointed as the university’s 14th president.
This recommendation to the Board of Regents suggests that the current search for a new president be ended and the “interim” title be removed from McFaddin’s position.
Approval must be agreed upon by the Board of Regents, with their next meeting scheduled for September 10th. McFaddin has been serving as the interim president since December 2019 following the departure of previous president, Michael T. Benson.
