Richmond Makes Top Ten on List of Best Places for Working Families

According to a nationally recognized job search engine, Richmond KY ranks as one of the top ten best cities in the United States for working families to make a living while taking care of their children.

An article posted on Zippia.com lists off the cities in each state they report as being the best place for working families to live. The Kentucky city that made its way onto the list was Richmond.

Based on a number of factors including housing costs, public school quality, and commute time, Zippia says the city of Richmond earns its spot based largely on its daycare affordability and slightly below-average workweek.

Richmond can be found on the list, along with other top contenders like Athens, Ohio and Statesboro, Georgia.
