Eastern Kentucky AD Matt Roan Releases New Statement Regarding Covid-19 Protocols

With a third football player leaving the program and a number of players sitting out of practice due to concerns over the way the University is handling the Covid situation AD Matt Roan releases new statement saying that “I want to be very clear that the well-being of our student athletes, coaches, staff, and campus community is my top priority.”
Full testing of the football was scheduled for August 4th but due to the possibility that the NCAA Board of Directors could have voted to cancel the Fall Championships the decision was made to reschedule the testing. Full testing will be done on Wednesday the 12th and each following Wednesday.
